New Standard Specification for Low-Carbon Nickel-Chromium-Molybdenum-Gadolinium Alloy Plate, Sheet, and Strip
1. Scope
1.1 This specification covers plate, sheet, and strip of low-carbon nickel-chromium-molybdenum-gadolinium alloy (UNS Nxxxxx) as shown in Table 1, for use for neutron adsorption, structural, and corrosive application in nuclear waste disposal service.
Will be used to control the requirements for the raw material needed in the construction of nuclear waste storage components. Users will be fabricators, A&E's and government agencies.
