ASTM WK87213
Manufacturers and robotics researchers utilizing robotic assembly require operations and parts that are often not included in the original example ATB. They will often create their own task boards catered to their needs at that time. There is a need for a standard practice in recording the task and test configuration such that researchers can continue to compare their test configuration to the configuration that may be displayed in a different lab while maintaining the design rationale behind the established ATB. This practice is intended to be used with the “Standard test method for robotic assembly task boards: Benchmarking performance” which standardizes the procedure to run a test on an assembly task board.
