New Test Methods for Powerplant Installation Fire Protection and Criteria for Normal Category Aeroplanes
1. Scope
Define acceptable test methods and standards for validation of powerplant fire protection of components and engine installations on normal category general aviation aeroplanes. The consensus standard will define means of compliance that are appropriately scaled to the aeroplane certification level and installed systems complexity, as appropriate.
