Rationale

B594 class B rejects on much smaller point defect size than the B548 does. B548 is mostly for large laminations in plates and uses 1” and 1” diameter hole templates to determine if an area is rejectable or not. B594 also sets up on known standards while B548 does not. B548 also does not address DAC.
